We’re all in this together! Writing together, growing together.

The writing workshop offered seniors the opportunity to express their individual experiences and perspectives while forming connections through creative writing and exchange. Writing enabled them to put their thoughts, fears, dreams, and hopes into words. We wrote together without judgment and experienced the fun of how creative techniques can elicit the unexpected. What was, what remains, what will come? What should be passed on? A look at the past, present, and together at the future. As part of the project, we visited a nursing home in Dresden to talk to the residents and share their life stories. Seniors from the Dresden Senior Academy also took part in the workshop.

A selection of the resulting works can be viewed until June 9 in the window shutter area of DresdnerNachbarschaft60plus. When the office is open, additional works can also be viewed indoors. A report on the contents of the workshop will be recorded in June at COLORADIO Dresden so that it can be made available to the public in a radio broadcast.
