Kunst.Raum.Konzerte present: Olicía trifft mDura
The Kunst.Raum.Konzerte offer a platform for the fusion of sound-, image- and space-based arts. In the process, music is always joined by another art form. Each band develops – in addition to playing their own pieces – a composition in real time together with the audience.
OLICÍA
Olicía is a band with two strong women who are constantly searching for new ideas with their music. The band project of the two multi-instrumentalists Anna-Lucia Rupp and Fama M’Boup creates a completely unique sound cosmos. Everything that can be heard on stage is created in the moment, nothing is pre-produced. At a time when stylistic boundaries are breaking down more and more, Olicía places itself in the specially founded genre of “electronic handmade loopjazz”.
mDura
DURA is an interdisciplinary media and installation artist. In her works she combines sculptural pieces, installations and sounds with performance and video. Through the use of sculptural elements and finely balanced actions, she creates atmospheric sceneries, multi-layered sensory impressions and associative possibilities. Her works explore the effects of sound, space and form aesthetics in 3D animation, objects and performances.
