Kunst.Raum.Konzerte present: Josephin Bunde paints to Kid Be Kid

The Kunst.Raum.Konzerte offer a platform for the fusion of sound-, image- and space-based arts. Thereby music is always joined by another art form. Each band develops – besides playing their own pieces – a composition in real-time together with the audience.

Kid Be Kid

Right with her debut “Sold Out” KID BE KID beamed straight to the big festivals and gave the audience breathtaking concerts. Whether at the Elbjazz in Hamburg, the legendary Fusion Festival or at the important Monument National as part of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal, one of the most prominent stages in the world – KID BE KID fascinates the audience with unconditional devotion and incredible skill.

At KID BE KID is just everything special. Before her, it was hard to imagine an artist who could play four instruments at the same time without a loop station, grooving and moving the crowd and on top her voice into several tones. She embodies coolness and vulnerability, structure and freedom, hip hop and jazz in equal measure and brings everything to life in the room.

KID BE KID’s new release “Lovely Genders” will be released in spring 2020 at Springstoff.

Josephin Bunde

Bringing the unconscious into the light, was already present in his work when he was studying at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Dresden. In the context of the Kunst.Raum.Konzerte she spontaneously puts colour to music on paper. It is intuitive gestures in abstract, coloured forms which she sets fluently to the music.
