With BUILDING AND WORK, GEH8 presents an exhibition that focuses on three-dimensional works of art. On display are contemporary sculptures, installations and objects in which “building” as the most visible manifestation of “work” is thematized and questioned.

4 of the 8 artists studied at the HfBK in Dresden and lived here. Eberhard Bosslet teaches as a professor for sculpture and spatial concepts in Dresden, he was, among other things, a participant in Documenta VIII in Kassel. Other artists come from Leipzig and Berlin. Nandor Angstenberger and Christel Fetzer are showing their work in Dresden for the first time.
