Already last year, the WERKraum created a showcase for the studio tenants of the GEH8, in order to carry the productivity and their work to the outside.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to a grant from the NEUSTART KULTUR program as well as investment reinforcement funds from the Free State of Saxony and budget funds from the state capital Dresden, we were able to move walls and visibly enlarge the window on the facade. Further renovation work meant that two large walls are now used for presentation and additional space has been created for sculptures and installations. We are pleased to reopen the Werkraum this year with a group exhibition.<\/p>\n

On view are works by Sara Hoppe, Claudia Kleiner, Stefan Lenke, Matthias Bausch, Thomas Judisch, Marleen Andreev and Michael Merkel. Thomas Judisch is responsible for the curation and supervision of the exhibition.<\/p>\n
