With the exhibition “Strand der Dinge” (Beach of Things) the geh8 Kunstraum focuses its attention on a generation of sculptors who were master students at the Dresden University of Fine Arts within the last 10 years. Eight artists meet, who successfully assert their position in the art world.<\/p>\n

The geh8 Kunstraum is committed to juxtaposing unconventional artistic approaches. The works shown here by Stefanie B\u00fchler, Marc Flossmann, Kay Frommelt, Sebastian Hempel, Christian Sch\u00f6nw\u00e4lder, Heinz Schm\u00f6ller, Uljana Rogoshina and Tilmann Walter provide an insight into the spectrum of current sculptural work in Dresden. Thus, this exhibition continues the self-chosen concept of geh8 Kunstraum to open access to current issues within contemporary art from the direct perspective of artists.<\/p>\n
