The Iranian master of &#8220;Shekasteh Calligraphy&#8221; and linguist has been living in Dresden for two years and will talk in his lecture about the culture of calligraphy in the field of tension between language, writing and image.<\/p>\n<p>Persian Shekasteh calligraphy is a style mastered by only a few Persian masters. Hamid Kahdemi has studied this style with several renowned masters and has received numerous awards from the Iranian Calligraphers Association.
