The project film for the performative reading of &#8220;*Topie &#8211; Space is the case&#8221; (2023)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last year, <em>*TOPIE<\/em> was the title and occasion for the publication of an anthology by GEH8 Verlag. 14 authors from all over Germany and Iran wrote texts in the form of short stories, poems and treatises, illustrated with drawings by the artist Andr\u00e9 Tempel, who also created an expansive installation in the GEH8 hall for the performative reading. Inspired by the idea of &#8220;poem simultaneity&#8221;, which originated in the 1920s, the authors, including Marcel Beyer, read more or less simultaneously. Soloists from the Ensemble AuditivVokal accompanied the readers based on a libretto by Kathrin Assauer and compositions by Alberto Arroyo and Samir TimajChi under the direction of conductor Olaf Katzer.
